How to Use the Intent Search Feature in the Leads Tool

Intent Search helps you capture leads from people who visit your website and accept your cookies. Once they visit your site, the system can match their info and send them into your Leads Tool and CRM.

Disclaimer:

When a visitor accepts cookies on your website, the lead may take 20–30 minutes to show up in the Leads Tool. This timing can vary because the system needs to match the visitor’s data across many different sources.

Please note:

  • If no data is found or no strong match exists, the system will not return a record.

  • On average, only 20–30% of your total website visitors can be matched. This is normal and not guaranteed.

  • Matches depend on things like the visitor’s browser settings, privacy tools, cookie blockers, and whether their information is available in the data sources we check.

  • Some visitors may clear cookies often or browse in private mode. These cannot be tracked or matched.

  • Results may vary day-to-day based on website traffic and the quality of the data available.

  • Intent Search is meant to capture warm visitors, not everyone, so seeing fewer to no leads does not mean anything is broken.

Here’s how to set it up in four easy steps:

Step 1: Create Your Intent Search

  1. Go to Intent Search in your Leads Tool.

  2. Click Create New Search.

  3. Give it a name.

  4. Add your website URL.

  5. Choose the max number of leads per day you want.

  6. Save it.

Step 2: Add a Tag to the List

  1. Go to Saved Lists.

  2. Find the list you just made.

  3. Click the three dotsTags & Source.

  4. Add a tag (any name you want).

  5. Save it.

This tag will help your CRM trigger the automation.

Step 3: Install the Tracking Pixel

  1. Open the list you created.

  2. Go to Settings in the top right.

  3. Copy the pixel code.

  4. Go to your CRM (example: GHL).

  5. Open your funnel or website page.

  6. Paste the pixel code into the Header Tracking Code area.

  7. Save it.

This code tells the Leads Tool who visited your website.

Step 4: Create a Workflow to Send Leads to Your CRM

  1. Go to AI ToolsAI Agent WorkflowNew Workflow.

  2. Give it a name.

  3. Add two steps:

    • Step 1: “When a new lead is added to this list,” choose the list you made.

    • Step 2: “Send to CRM.”

  4. Save and Publish the workflow.

Now, anytime a visitor is matched as a lead, they will automatically go into your CRM.
