How to Integrate Groove with the Leads Program

This guide will walk you through connecting your Groove account to your leads program so you can send leads directly into Groove Mail.

Step 1: Create a Form in Groove Mail

  1. Open Groove Dashboard
    Log in to your Groove account and go to the Groove Mail section.

  2. Go to the Forms Section
    In the left-hand menu, click on Forms, then click Create New Form.

  3. Name the Form
    Enter a name for your form, such as “Groove Leads Integration”, and click Continue.

Step 2: Choose a Template

  1. On the left side, click to open Templates.

  2. Go to Global Templates.

  3. Select the WLS Form template (this includes all the necessary lead fields).

  4. Click Use This Template and Save.

    ⚠️ Do not make any changes to the template fields.

Step 3: Assign to a List

  1. Either select an existing list or create a new one (e.g. “Groove Leads”).

  2. Optionally, add tags to help with automation.

  3. Click Next until you reach the Embed step.

  4. Click Finish to save the form.

Step 4: Get the Form ID

There are two ways to find the form ID:

Method A: From Preview URL

  1. Click Actions next to your form.

  2. Select Preview.

  3. In the URL, copy the number after preview= — this is your Form ID.

Method B: From HTML Code

  1. Click ActionsGet Code.

  2. Choose Raw HTML → Click Next.

  3. Look for the form ID inside the code snippet.

Step 5: Connect Groove to Your Leads Program

  1. Open your Leads Program and go to the Integrations tab.

  2. Select CRM Setup and choose Groove from the list.

  3. Click Connect CRM.

  4. Paste your Form ID.

  5. Click Save.

Step 6: Send Leads to Groove

  1. In the Leads Tool, run or open an existing Search.

  2. Select the lead(s) you want to send.

  3. Click the Green ArrowSend to CRM.

  4. Choose Groove from the CRM list.

Step 7: Confirm the Lead Was Sent

  1. Go to your Groove Mail dashboard.

  2. Open Contacts → select the list (e.g. Groove Leads).

  3. You should see the newly added contact, confirming that the lead came through.
