Overview
If you're using HighLevel and need to create a payment cancellation in your workflows, follow the steps below or watch the quick video on how to do it. By following the steps outlined below, you will learn how to trigger a cancellation process automatically when a payment fails
π‘ Pro Tip
When creating a workflow for auto-cancelling a subscription, ensure that it is separate [in a new workflow] from your workflow that is used to fire the webhook to create a license and grant access to your client. This allows you to troubleshoot an issue faster if everything isn't in the same workflow.
Step 1: Choose the Payment Received Trigger
Even though it's a cancellation, it's still considered a payment transaction. So, to start, choose the payment received trigger.
Step 2: Set Your Filters
Next, set your filters to ensure the cancellation is triggered correctly. The payment status should be set to "failed," and the source should be a specific funnel or website.
Step 3: Set the Transaction Type
The transaction type should be set to "customer not present" as this is a subscription transaction.
Step 4: Set the Payment Status
The payment status should be set to "failed" to trigger the webhook for cancellation.
Step 5: Fire the Webhook
To cancel the lead program, you will need to fire the webhook from your cancellation system.
To do this:
Go to packages and subscriptions, and copy the cancellation webhook.
Then, paste it into the designated area and add the email of the contact you want to cancel the program for.
And that's it! By following these steps, you can easily create a payment cancellation in HighLevel for your workflows. If you have any further questions, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
